Ride on a fighter jet

Slightly faulty memory, because we never had a wing fall off an F-111. Early in the program, though, they did have one on the ground with assymetric wingsweep, and that was supposed to be impossible. So they fixed it so it really was impossible. That was about the time we gave up on the 16 deg wingsweep only flaps. For you fighter jocks, that gave an approach speed of 116 knots plus fuel weight (in Klbs). Really slow.
