I had mine done at 'Wheels By Adam' for about $130. Its in the same building as Star Tire on Harry Hines. This is what it looked like before:

I had my 348 wheels done by Wheels America in Grand Prarie. They did a great job and do in one day. I believe Norwoods uses these folks as well.

    What about cost?

Jim, I think a while back you said like $50 a rim?

nope, they are typically 130 a wheel, no matter where you go. they all ship them to wheel america AFAIK. even down in austin they ship them up to big-D, repair the wheel the next day and ship it right back. same price.

one thing to keep in mind is the clearcoat they use afterwards - it doesn't hold up so well and if you have brake dusting problems w/performance pads, it can eat away at the coating.

I had one of my Indy's wheels done at Star Tire aka Wheels by Adam. They did a great job. I believe they had the wheel for two days. Cost around $50 or so as I remember.

I am thinking about having all 4 wheels refurb to remove a little road rash. Nothing more than a cosmetic problem do to how soft the rims are on my AMG.
