His hot-rod 911 books are required reading.

Bruce & I went way back. When he first got on AOL I helped him figure it out. When I first cam timed a 911 engine - he helped me figure it out.

I have a photo here of Bruce & I on my desk... He meant that much to me & so many others.

    A true Porsche gentleman.

My wife had called him at X about a '60s 911 back in the mid-'90s. It was on Long Island with just 80K miles on it, original owner (this was before these cars shot up like mad.) BA talked to her for a long time, answering all kinds of Qs and brining up basics neither of us had read about let alone thought of on our own. When she asked about weather caused corrosion, he said we should move to Arizona . . .

I once asked about adjusting the travel of a Porsche braking system I was thinking of installing in our CRX. He gave me some pointers but made the point that he thought the mods I was considering more or less meant that I was crazy . . . (I was thinking of using the car as a test mule for a project. I should've mentioned that . . .)

A passionate, knowledgeable, generous gentleman that has taught Excellence subscribers a ton.

    Irreplaceable.

Fair well, Mr Anderson! You will definitely be missed.
