    MILWAUKEE - Gary Gygax, who co-created the fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons and helped start the role-playing phenomenon, died Tuesday morning at his home in Lake Geneva. He was 69.

    R.I.P. to a true visionary.

    He had a profound effect on my life as a kid and was one of the few positive influences in my life. D&D taught me how to channel my creativity, how to be part of a team, and so many other things.

    I believe being a DM was what prepared me to start my own business.
