    yep, they had a shot of guys patching the asphalt (a la the Daytona 500 a few years back).

    SAFER barrier and catch fence repairs, too.

    i think this will get bad soon. the wiki site is currently inoperable and says info will be changing quickly.

    we all have beena round racing for many years...we know hope the info gets out.

    very damn sad.

    That was horrifying to watch.

    Read on another forum that the view from Danica's camera showed an awful view of what happened to Weldons car.

    I remember watching when Greg Moore had his accident. They waited a long time, then the doctor came out and said "His injuries are definitely potentially fatal", or something like that.

    As I recall, his was a one-car crash, certainly nothing like what just happened here.

    Edit: If he DID get hit in the helmet, they'll probably never show his in-car camera video.

    I agree, unfortunately the handling of this situation is eerily similar to Greg's crash.

    Yes it brings us back to Greg Moore...and Jeff krosnoff in Toronto...this will force a rethink...Kenny Brack, Davey Hamilton...more importantly Godspeed to Wheldon and the others.

    the horrific crash about 15 years ago during an IMSA race at Road Atlanta. While no fatalities, it was career-ending for some drivers. Like then, the waiting is making me nauseous.
