Dino was a HUGE part of the enthusiasm for race cars, ferrari's, and vintage motorsport here in the Metro Detroit area, a fantastic gentleman whom I've only had the pleasure of meeting a few times in the last two years. He will be missed by the many who called him friend; and the enthusiast community at large. My condolences to his family.

There's a thread in Racing Section on this with some links to a very nice ongoing blog.......

Sadly, he was a great friend to one of our own chatters....while I did not know him myself, reading the tributes on that link made me feel we had lost a very fine gentlemen..

Maybe we should merge that thread onto this one, as your pics of him are very nice.

In one of the articles linked there was a brief mention of the front wing failing, I think the local authorities are still sorting it all out..

R.I.P. to a fine gentleman and vintage racer.

I met him last year at a lake party. He was quite the gentleman and many will miss him.

My brother and I will be honoring my father at this year's Concours d'Elegance with one of his many favorite cars - the Ferrari in the pictures above. Thank you for everyone's thoughts and prayers. We look forward to seeing the car community out there.
