Jack's estate has numerous fully restored antique gas pumps and I'm at a loss on who can appraise these and separately, who might be interested in acquiring one or more of them here in the Bay Area. Standard estate appraisers don't do this kind of item. And they're not exactly something that you run down to the UPS Store to ship!
The Blackhawk Auto Museum in Danville has a display of old pumps. Perhaps someone there can provide a resource.
Many air museums would appreciate having these, too. There was a time long ago when aircraft had propellers and didn't run on jet-A.
I found this one... You guys check out the eBay listings, many of the Ferrari books were already in my library, but there are lots of other makes present, as well as "stuff"... I bought the 'VaVa Voom' book, and the FCA California Spyder neck tie, the sort of thing I am proud to wear at events. As I opened the Antonie Prunet book, my gf said "what is on THIS page?" and pointed to the part of the spine, she could see trying to open to daylight. Of course, turning to that page, was the chapter on his car!!! There's also an article in the San Francisco paper, of his retirement from feeding the lions at the zoo, in 1999. Try mrpbody44, a member here. He's a special blend of art appraisal, antique motorcycles and machinery, and vintage and custom electric guitars.. I'd lay wager he can help or will immedaitely know who can. I have a commercial entity (Restaurant equipment salvage and resale) across the street here in Houston, that has several. I can inquire there as well.
And I'm far from finishing listing items from his estate...for example... Here's all the Ferrari books yet to be listed that were in the one box pictured above. Let me know if there are particular ones in this stack that you'd like to see listed. Jack certainly had a soft spot for Ferrari's. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Can you post the page(s), please? Just nice to read stuff like that. Thx in advance. @ HMB-dino/Ron, looks like you have your work cut out. Don't forget to go outside sometimes
I see Jack's California is now on the Fantasy Junction site 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spyder
With an incorrect nose done after a crash, it won't bring 11. There is an open headlight SWB that is correct that can be bought for less.
The only issue is that many of these titles are already in my library!! Still, many famous titles, the Joel Finn V12 book, the Hans Tanner 1964, famous, or infamous depending on the source...
I found the article in the San Francisco paper just googling his name, I am no good with links..maybe some else can find it to this thread?? Thanks, Alan

Ron, you're going to have to stop using this thread to advertise that you have Jack's stuff for sale. You're a subscribed user, so please start a new thread (or threads) in the classified section. Thanks for understanding. Wayne
