    I knew Mr. Sutter and met him several times when RA001 was on the line in final. I didn't know him personally but he remembered me 39 years later at a dinner meeting and chatted with me about those frantic times...especially when the airplane slipped off the jacks during gear swing. A very very fine gentleman. Mal Stamper was another wonderful person with whom one could talk to any time and he always listened to what you had to say. I think that people like Sutter and Stamper were the key to getting that huge program through the door. There were many others like them and it was Boeing at it's very best. No equal since.
