These cars drive very nice and have plenty of power. Maserati must have liked it because they copied it calling their version the Mexico. The Rivolta is much less expensive to own and operate as it uses the Corvette 327 engine. Both the 300 and the 340 hp versions were used. Bizzarrini designed the chassis, Giugiaro the body. Piero Rivolta told me back in the day he used to smoke Ferrari 330's on the autostrade with his.

Might be a great way to participate in a little of the Bizzarrini/Rivolta magic at a reasonable price! Who doesn't love a car with a great story?! And, at around $500,000 for a 5300 Strada, the cost of throwing around Giotto Bizzarrini's name, in describing your car collection, is very pricey.

What most don't know is that All production Iso cars share the exact same chassis, so the Grifo, Fidia, GT and Lele are all similar except for the wheelbase and body. For 50K you are driving the same chassis as the Grifo. They all handle very well.

DeDion rear axle, disc brakes all around, Dana rear end w inboard disc n the back, coil over Koni shocks, Campy or Borrani rims. ZF 5 speed or Borg Warner. Top notch components and design. At the time these were similar to what Ferrari and Aston used in their racing programs, and this was put together by the same guy who built the Ferrari GTO.

Didn't they have a Watts Linkage in the rear end? I looked at one years ago in Howell, NJ, and my mechanic showed me the mounting points-the Rivolta was lacking that part of the suspension!
