Did anybody here go? I looked at the catalog and didn't see anything that interesting (to me), so I did something else. Jack.
just perspective I guess - my impression based on the cars I saw sold - cars didnt bring all the money - between having two RM Auctions back to back in thirty days, the 134 cars consigned from the O'Quin Collection, Barrett Jacson this weekend the general malaise in the economy - it is probably a good time to be a buyer..... here are a few pictures I liked: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, it's a buyer's market still, especially when the entire O'Quinn collection was no reserve status (more O'Quinn cars will be at the RM Auction in San Diego in June). From a market view though, RM was up over $5m at the FLL auction from 2009 and generally quality was also improved. Will be interesting to see how it compares to the Barrett-Jackson tent auction this weekend. RM
Not a fan of Barrett Jackson - we have sponsored for a number of years - skipped this year - me I am going to Sebring - going to slay some Ferraris in the GT3 running in mixed mark. I find Barrett Jackson to be pretty hokey, even compared to the RM auction in Ftl. Those guys are so full of themselves - I could see the Barretts driving this RM car: Image Unavailable, Please Login
