St. Moritz plays host to the INTERNATIONALE ST. MORITZER AUTOMOBILWOCHEN, a week of automobile activities including a concours, hillclimb and various races. RM are offering just 22 cars with a mostly modern bent, marquee lots are two Aston-Martin DB5s, a Lambo Miura, Williams FW12C and a Aston-Martin One-77. But as the one car to rule them all they have a super rare Bugatti Type 57S Atalante at a high but fair estimate.

    KEY - year - make - model - low estimate - high estimate (CHF/US$) - N/R = No reserve

Other than couple of qualified lots listed, what does any of this has to do with Vintage Ferraris ???

It doesn't but I figured there would be some cross over and a general level of interest to people on Ferrarichat?

    The long way home
The Vintage section is the only one with a dedicated Market sub-forum which has acted as the defacto place for auction sale related threads for eons now. This is the right place for this thread, even if the vintage Ferrari content is limited.

Thank you Timothy for posting. I always appreciate your commentary before and after the sales.

I enjoy doing it and it feeds into a little side hustle so my pleasure.

I was going to do Worldwides Auburn sale but it was 200 - 300 lots and just two Ferraris and not many more proper classics, most of it was just never ending screeds of Chevrolets and so on so since I don't like to fill the sub forum with totally unrelated dross, I didn't.

Anyways there is a huge amount of ultra high end auctions left to come. Broad Arrows are hosting a West Palm Beach sale and selling the Jim Taylor collection including a Jaguar D-Type, Bonhams have their Goodwood Revival sale (Aston DB3 and 1922 Sunbeam GP car anyone?) and Bond Sale, always a great selection of high end collectors cars and RM/ Sothebys have six auctions still to come, the Gene Ponder collection, Munich, Miami, London, Newman/ Haas and St. Moritz. The market has arguably never been this good although I get the feeling it wouldn't take much for it to all crash and burn but we will follow it all the way regardless.
