Sorry for the delay, I had my last exam for the year this morning, so now I have some spare time. Here are some pics. I'm ok with the F40 as it is; it ain't perfect, but it is an improvement on the standard Bburago model. The only things I'd like to do to it is remove the badge from the rear grille and place it on the rear bonnet below the spoiler, and finish of the kevlar surface behind the seats.

BTW Apegen, had a look at your web page; your models are absolutely fantastic! Congrats on some excellent work. I notice you converted a Hotwheels CS to 360CH... I've had the same thoughts and have purchased a CS to convert. I've already removed the stripe, but I don't have time to do it at the moment. I'll do so when I find the time but I seriously doubt it will hold a candle to your efforts!

RMV, did you realise that one of the F40's for sale here in Melbourne was owned by Mr Burago himself? Apparently spent the whole time in the foyer at the Burago factory.

I thought I heard something like that, thanks for confirming. Pity he didn't pay any attention to it when they were making the 1/18 F40... the standard model's level of detail is rather woeful! :D

    Yes indeed, terrible.
I have the F40 model to end all F40 models. Pocher F40 plus the full Autograph transkit. http://www.scaleautoworks.com/f40transkitphotos.htm

I suspect that I will never get around to building it- daunting is an understatement!

I clicked on the link, and thought momentarily that I was looking at pictures of the real thing... what an amazing model that is! I see what you mean about daunting! The Kyosho 1/12 F40 is excellent, but still not in the Pocher's league; a good compromise nonetheless.

The base Pocher is pretty average, it's the transkit that makes all the difference. Did you see the 126C on the same site? WOW!
