Time again for the BRIC historical races at Road America starting on Thursday. I see alot of vintage F1 cars listed including a few very nice Ferrari and Lotus F1 cars.

If you have not been to Road America you are missing the best road racing track in North America. Next month they will also be running the ALMS races at Road America. Several 458's will be running in GT2. That alone would be worth the trip.

312 T2 and T5. Should have an ok group of F1 cars this year. I wonder what the special display tent will have this year. It has to be said, the people running the BRIC(KIC) are more into quantity than quality now days. They should move the race to the week after the Laguna Seca event to get more cars that are in the country for that event to come(just like the Milwaukee Masterpiece does). The Historics at RA
were much better when JM ran it.

I only see a few 360's and a 308. Lots of T70's, real Cobra's, Scarab's and Can Am cars listed.

Suffice it to say, going to the track with your wife and kids is an all together different experience than going with the boys. The net result--took about 20 pictures all day, most of them of the kids playing in the grass...But, I kept reminding myself about the bigger picture--get 'em interested young!

    Cute pictures!! I took 1,200. :D

After I sort through it all, I'll start posting. Narrowed it down to 288 after 3 rounds of editing. :D This is tough.

I posted one shot in the summer spotters thread. Overall, fantastic event!

    Thanks a lot!

    Nikon D200
    Sigma Fisheye
    Tamron 18-270

Got the Tamron "Superzoom" recently. Totally love the flexibility it offers as well as vibration reduction: I was never quite happy with the sharpness of my racing shots; while the background should be blurred, we want some crisp focus around the driver. Vibration reduction is a great help in that regard.
