Road America parking at the BRIC

My father asked me to post for him (he hasn't registered) to reserve him a spot.

Any plans to have a meeting spot outside the paddock for FerrariChat people?

 

I would definitely do this if there were more time to plan.

As I mentioned in a previous post (thread) I'm a big supporter of this idea, but when I posed it months ago nothing really happened until the last few days....and living 7 hrs away I made no plans to bring a car since nothing was happening....and on short notice, I'm obviously not prepared to get my things together.

Lets not forget this thought and work towards planning earlier for next year and getting some solid commitments out of some people, clubs, etc...whatever it takes... myself included.

The idea is a great one and makes those of us who are lucky enough to be included feel an extra sense of participation in the event.

Sorry it's not working out this year, but thank you for your efforts and lets build on it for the future.

My costume for the weekend is plaid shorts, golf shirt, sneakers no socks, 5-7, 38 YO, #2 blade buzz cut, 28 YO wife (brunette) in cutoffs (long legs) and a bourbon on the rocks in a palstic cup....see you guys downtown!

 

my wife (also 28!) threw out all my plaid shorts (said they were "tragic" :rofl )... so I'll be rocking Khakis and my deck shoes all weekend.


















oh, and did someone say bourbon on the rocks???? I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo there.

On my way to the Kettle Moraine for a little drive this morning I stopped at the track to see what's going on. The FedX F1 car was running laps, he was coasting out of the corners, still clocked in at a 2:02!!!

Ford has a huge display at the base of the paddock (to the right of the tunnel as you enter the paddock). They were unloading a few Ford GT's yesterday, few more showed up today with some Mustangs and other new models.



The first storm of the weekend is rolling in.

Rain or shine we always have Siebkens!!

 

we leave tomorrow AM at 10... I'm sure we'll pass a couple of you in the paddock over the course of the weekend.

btw 9hr drives = ftl.

Our group usually has a couple of EZ-Ups outside of turn three in front of the Corvette Corral. So if anyone is in the area, stop by and grab a beer!
