both articles feature a car without the magneto-rheological dampers.

the pictures show much more body roll than i have experienced. i wonder if the lack of the magneto-rheological dampers is responsible?

I don't know for sure but here is my opinion. Ferrari probably tested the 0-60 times of the Cali with and without magnaride and gave the press the faster version.

On the track, magnaride probably helps keep the car more level and reduces or eliminates scraping. But most readers aren't as interested in the track times or aren't familiar with the track used so don't have a good reference point to compare.
