    Hi Russ,

Don't know if it's of any help to you, but I just bought a copy through Millhouse Books in the UK (www.millhousebooks.com).

I bought a copy of the same book and the previous volume that covers 50's Ferraris. Think I got them on Ebay 3 yrs ago. I'll look for a receipt and post my source if I find it. Try this as well -- a network of smaller booksellers -- I've gotten several good automotive and architectural rare finds through them, no bad experiences.

I have a copy of this that I'd like to sell. I'm seeing prices on Abe Books and Amazon of around $370, which seems nuts for a softcover....is it really this rare?

Just for reference I think this is the full collection of Brooklands books on Ferrari.

$370 does seem a bit high for any of them.

I think there’s a lot of algorithm-driven pricing of books….and probably other items…on the web. It seems especially prevalent on Amazon and Abe, which is owned by Amazon. I think what happens is that a vendor can set the price to update automatically when new price data becomes available. I’m searching for a book right now that’s available from an Amazon vendor for $499 but is typically available for about a quarter of that. I’ll wait, thanks….

That's really interesting, I didn't know that ABE was owned by Amazon, makes perfect sense though.
