Road Atlanta visitors - Let us entertain you on Saturday eve:

Let's try this for Saturday night of Atlanta GP weekend coming up:

1. Dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Giovanni's in Suwanee, at about 5:30-6:00 PM. This will give anyone who wants to join us after the Saturday races at Road Atlanta time to join us. We can eat on the outdoor deck in the great weather while discussing our vehicles.

2. For those who want to do it, we'll adjourn to Andretti SpeedLab in Roswell for a little bit of "racing" on our own. Several out-of-towners who will be in town for the "big" race want to see the place. (And we'll pass by FoA on the way!)

An RSVP is not needed, but it would be good to know who among you is interested, and this thread is repeated from the South Central forum. Let's try to get a nice turnout.

 

A little info about Giovanni's: the restaurant is in an "outparcel" building in front of the shopping center on the northwest corner of McGinnis Ferry Road (which is what you'll be on, if you follow the MapQuest map) and Peachtree Parkway (GA-141). Turn right on Peachtree and you'll soon see the building with the restaurant on your left; make the next left and backtrack to the restaurant.

The restaurant's main entrance is on the south side of the building, but we park on the northeast side, adjacent to the outdoor deck--just look for that. I'll give them a call and see if they will block off some spaces, which they often do for their little montly "car shows" during the summer. (Those are often sponsored by the local Lotus or Fiat/Lancia clubs.) I'll try and be there a little early, so just look for a red Ferrari 328!
