So... I have as hard a time as anyone leaving my babies in the garage on a beautiful weekend like we recently had here in Denver...

what's the thought on the effects of mag-chloride and whatever other chemicals are used on the road on our vehicles??

Well it is corrosive substance (suppose to be 70% less corrosive than rock salt) and since it does stick to your paint, wheels, and trim it will eat away at the different components. It’s best to wash your car fast as possible when exposed to Mag-Chloride. Don’t get deterred about driving your car, just make sure it doesn’t sit with road grime on it. Even though it’s corrosive, I would rather have that then salt!

Potassium and Magnesium Chlorides are corrosive, especially to Aluminum (uncoated). For this reason I strongly suggest you apply a durable winter wax that will last.

Visit the TOUCH-LESS CAR WASHES OFTEN to knock off the debris.

    Cheers,
    GREG
