    Hi all,

I remember seeing an R&T issue back in the early to mid 80's with the PS featuring a Ferrari wearing Wyoming plates and parked next to a dilapidated building having an old weathered sign that read either "Black Horse" or "Dark Horse" Saloon.

Does anyone know what issue that was and what model F-car was in the shot?

    Thanks for any help!

If it's before '88 I definitely have it in my collection, but it would take some digging (up to an hour or so, depending) to find it. How important is it to you?

Not that important really, just curious being that photo was taken in my home town, and I was reminded of it by another thread in the TR/Boxer section.

I was shown the R&T "P.S." by a friend in what was either 1984 or '85. It is possible that I was being shown a back issue, but doubt it since I remember seeing the car parked in the very spot shown in the photo during that time.

The cool thing about the photo was that it looked very much like the car was resting in a western ghost town, when actually it was shot in suburban NJ.

The building the car was next to was was not a tavern, but a machine shop, whose proprietor owned the car. I don't recall the model, but somehow remember it being an older Ferrari and somewhat different than the 308 that I was familiar with. (I was 11 or 12 at the time) leading me to believe it might have been a Daytona, and I recall with certainty it had Wyoming plates most likely for insurance purposes.

    Thanks for the responses!
