Saints office called yesterday and our name came up in the lottery so I have tickets. 800 each for end zone upper deck LOL!!! So looks like Saturday morning the wife and I will load up the 355 and head to South Beach. So which is most likely to happen:

    1. Car breaks down in Tallahassee and has to be left behind. Saints lose and the trip, with repairs, cost me 8 grand.

    2. Trying to save time, I get ticketed for 120 and end up in jail. Enter close new friendship with cell mate Bubba.

    3. The car works perfect and the Saints become the new World Champions.

A roadtrip to the Superbowl in a Ferrari to see the Saints sounds like the chance of a lifetime. Whatever happens it'll be worth it!

Just don't park it in a Colts area without hiring a security guard. Your Louisiana plate with be a magnet for FOD.

i thought the same thing when i went to see my rebels play in the cotton bowl at the brand new shiny stadium, well.....

    the earplugs helped some.

but it was a fun trip, and no tickets!

btw my 355 spider setup is straight pipes with a challenge exhaust, loud is an understatement.

What a trip. Thursday, I went to the garage to prep the 355 and could not get it started. Was trying to get the battery charged but something was not working. At that point, I was ready to go in the 308 but a new battery charger solved the problem. About 12 hours to cover the 900 miles down there. The traffic on the Florida turnpike at night is the fastest I have ever seen. For the most part though, patrol cars were everywhere giving out tickets. I must have seen at least 50+ on the round trop. Hit south beach that night, lots of fun but tons of traffic. Lots of exotics on the beach. Later drove into Little Havana to get some late night cuban food. South beach again Sunday sipping mojito's at the Tides behind the ESPN set up. Rode the metrorail/tri-rail to the game so missed the traffic and round trip was 5$. And as I was leaving the stadium lo and behold, FRANK FOSTER comes walking down the ramp with a huge smile on his face! Guess his Saints bashing worked for their MOJO! Easy trip back yesterday. Saints fans where at every stop on the way home and all over the highway. Lots of honking back and forth. Great game. Miami as a city is a great place to visit. They were a super host and seemed to like the Saints being in town. 1900 miles covered in 60 hours in the 355 and everything worked out fine. Who Dat?

Nice, sounds like a memorable trip! I picked the Saints to win based on overconfidence of the Colts, but it turns out they just were a better team. I thought for sure the Colts were going to score with about 4 minutes left, and the Saints would have time to win with a FG or another TD, but that interception sealed the deal. Great game overall.
