    Smells like that time of year.. Roadtrip to USGP!

    I am planning a different route this year that would take me through Nashville (originating in Houston) for a night... Any recommendations on a "safe" hotel? Was hoping for one that a valet would allow me to park in the front as opposed to putting in a parking garage...

    Which day are you going to be there? Several of us are going to caravan up (Birmingham, Huntsville, Nashville) on Wednesday June 15 so we're in Indy for the pit walkabout on Thursday. If it works out for you, you're welcome to join us!

    Loewe's Vanderbilt Hotel would probably be the nicest, and safest. They have several lanes under cover, and I'd bet the valets wouldn't have a problem with parking an f-car out front all night under their watchful eyes. I have a friend who is an architect in the same building as the hotel and he always calls me when there is an exoctic out front.

    i'll be stoping in Nashvile on 6/16 but will stay at Embasy suites in Franklin--just south of town. I'll be with 308 on my trailer.

    I would second the Loews hotel. Top notch accomodations, covered parking, and 5 blocks from the interstate.
