Just bought a 78' 308 GTB and am driving it home to Toronto. Blogging about it at www.canadianwineguy.com, appreciate any and all advice and comments.

(apologies for crossed reading from 308 thread, just figured this will hit all Fchat members)

    Pictures on site, btw.

Great pictures so far. I crossed old 66 on my way out west. Unfortunately I was going the wrong way across country SE to NW. Have fun and good fortune to you.

This time of year, I'd suggest hitting the road early, even before daybreak. I'd look at wrapping up around by 2:00 or so. A hotel with a pool is pretty cool. :)

PS You might also try US 50 if you get a chance.

Autohaus Unlimited in North Tulsa if you hit a snag. GREAT mechanic. Ask for Nader. 918-592-1607. My 430 is there now getting tinted.

    Brett,

Even if the A/C is operating at maximum performance, it won't give much relief on a hot sunny day.

    308 A/C is a joke!

I wish that I saw this post earlier. I am in Norman OK which is only about 15 minutes from downtown OKC. I would have been happy to meet up with you as you passed through in my 348. Have fun and be safe on your trip! ;)
