Root for ROAR Racing tomorrow at Daytona! While we aren't running in the 24 hrs, the first race of the season for us is tomorrow, starting at 2:15. We did very well at the practice days earlier this month in the #62 and #63 Mazda RX-8's, and are looking to do well tomorrow against probably the toughest field the ST class has ever seen.

Sadly, our race will be tape-delayed, and Speed has not released when they are going to show the race yet. As soon as I found out though, I'll let everyone know!

    Thanks for your support!

This is a possibility... sadly we are all extremely busy at this time... between my brother and I being in our final year of Undergrad, and all the work with the team that the rest of our family has been doing, it would be difficult to keep the blog updated.

Thanks for the nice thoughts! I'm listening to the streaming live audio and keeping the leaderboard up at the point. So far our No. 63 car has moved up by 8 spots!

We actually had some bad luck near the end of the race. Before the last full course caution, which wasn't more than 20 minutes away from the race, one of our cars had moved up into either 11th or 12th place. During that caution, however, our car was hit, not once, but twice by other vehicles which resulted in it dropping to 26th place, but luckily our driver at the time was able to recoup and get back up to 20th place for the finish.

I don't have much more information yet as my parents are still in the process of trying to figure out what is happening, but save for that, I'm quite happy with how our team did this race, and I am hoping that the trend of gaining spots during the race will continue.

I was watching the time and you guys just dropped off the radar. I was wondering what happened. When listing to the live cast the announcers didn't say anything about it. Hopefully, the car hasn't sustained too much damage from the hits.

At least we know that we were doing well before that.

All I have to say is that GA needs to start taking people's licenses. There's no excuse for contact under yellow.

GA actually needs to start implementing standards for licencing.

Hahaha! That's a good one. You could have said that for IMSA many years ago!

-Peter (my boy Tom Long was doing good. Qulaifying and running in the top five of GS and overall until the co-driver got it in.. Oh well...)
