Rob, how about this?

Rob asked for input on improving the site a few days ago and then the great Bahrain post showed. Occurred to me that pics are so much a part of FChat and rather than having all posters learn to clean up after shrinking, maybe FChat could add a "sharp" function to the editor that is downloaded everytime a new post is generated. Might be that the server host would do this kind of addition on their nickel. Sure is a common situation and FChat is not the only site with pic posting difficulties.

Started this as a separate thread since I thought input from programmers among us might be able to chime in. The function only can work properly at display resolution. Lot of folks are trying to sharpen at camera resolution and then shrinking. Doesn't work. Keeping the file size within Rob's limit of 800 x 800 x 293kb should simplify things immensly. Compare these pics to originals. Comments please.
