very funny it was when i was recovering from my cancer. as if any of those old farts would have the money to buy it or finance it on the "Never never"
But surely back then, like now, any old car would be difficult to finance, at least without a sizeable deposit? What's the go on financing OHOS anyway these days?
Because you used to be a finance BROKER. You sold money, like a car BROKER sells cars. Just thought you might know, that's all. But I guess you are about as helpful as the car BROKERS I know. So bitter.
Banks will only go on 3 years (age of vehicle) or less these days.... I cannot tell you the times I was "Approved" for the $$$ amount (in theory), then went to get paperwork and was denied... "It's a 1976 (fibreglass) 308GTB Ferrari ....we cannot do that" while it was clearly defined in the original request ($36K USD) or the Boxer 1976 512 prototype (first 5.0L engine ID #00004) "It's a 1976 Ferrari, we cannot do that ($80K USD requested)... F&^%*& 'em, I'll just gather aluminum cans as I walk down the roadside, I'll be driving 'em, soon enough!!
