Well worth the wait. Congratulations, Rob.
Awesome Rob!!! You need to have a welcome home party when it gets here. We can have all the SoCal GT4's get together for the welcoming.
having just joined this group, it seems I have landed at the top and have to come back down........An exciting journey and a dream destination. Congratulations. Love the x ray photo, and here I was thinking that "il cuore sportivo" was just an Italian thing! Again congratulations!
Pretty sure the Euro series II has the rubber going under the bumper. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
Freinds, I am not sure about that but could be correct, The 76 cars Al did had the bumpers like mine. I do know this the car lived most its life in S. CA and I have early pictures and it has the rubber under the chrome as it does now. The original ones were toast and Al gave me the best ones he could find to replace as it was. It does look like the early cars also had a thinner rubber. I wonder it the early bumpers fit in the later chrome bezels. He said there were many different bumpers types that he has encountered. I have been piecing together the perfect tool and jack kit, just looking for the t bar plug wrench. Al says there is a trick to remove the caps which I am eager to learn he said it involved a rag and a large screwdriver! Thanks to all for the positive comments, My old band is back together and they are finishing up my new drum set and it is painted the same color. Ironically both have been in progress for a long time and will arrive the same week! Rob Image Unavailable, Please Login
Matching drums and GT4...life's good. CONGRATS Rob! Enjoy and keep the pics coming...the adventure is just beginning
now if you could only figure out how to make the kit fit in the GT4 for the tour, you would be set....
Bass drum in the passenger seat Toms in the back seats / luggage rack Snare, symbols and high hat in the spare tire Hardware in the trunk Wife... Sorry this is rock'n roll!
Right. Never mind. Sell the GT4 and get a KIA Soul or something else that looks like a corrective shoe on wheels.
Back together after 24 years, cool! Can I ask what brand is your drum? I'm looking to buy a new one too and want a Sonor. Had my Pearl for almost 40 years now. When possible take a picture of the car and the drum.
Dear Friends, 09212 is home and in the garage next to its brother 10766! I am sorry I have been so busy with the band, I have not had a chance to post. Here is a quick picture! Car looks fantastic waiting for the registration to drive it, and will post more soon! Thanks to Al and his crew for the wonderful experience, and thanks to all of you for participating. My new drum set painted the same exact color showed up the same week, then I had to fly to Germany to sign autographs! I am still in shock! Interstate Lines did a fantastic job transporting it from Florida! Sincerely, Rob Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
May I suggest a couple prancing ponies on those drums? Perhaps shields on a couple? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You don't put "STICKERS" on drums...effects the resonance... Congrats Rob on both the car and the new kit and retro fame!!!
