    Rob, you have no idea how much time i already spend reading your threads. Absolute great and valuable for amateur guys like me.

    I did not remove the fitting. Just cleaned it with a metal bruss and than it looked like above picture. I guess i was a bit lucky.

    Well, that is likely working for as well however i have no reason to take it out as it works o.k. I guess you removed yours because there was an issue of some kind with the sensor??

    Hey,

    I'm currently performing the same procedure and have decoupled everything from the radiator: the fans, hoses, bolts at the bottom and top, but for some reason the radiator won't budge. Are there other bolts keeping it fixed? I can't see any other on the schematics and I'm afraid to damage the radiator if I give it a good hit to get it loose.

    Got the radiator out. Damn! They should either give the designer death sentence, or the Novel price for physics; the things I had to do to get that thing out of there ...
