"The 20-year-old thinks incidents like his engine troubles in Canada and being unlucky with traffic have caused this run to go on for longer than it should have." As always everybody and everything else is at fault. Maybe somebody should buy him a mirror!!! Baaaah! If I send you £5 could you go get my lottery tickets for me this weekend?
I tend to think that the kid will be there as long as he wants. But, you raise a good point - Lawrence Stroll didn't get where he is by making expensive mistakes. We'll see what's more important very soon. Then again, Perez is only doing slightly better than Lance, so . . . . .
In truth, Force India was maybe doing better than Racing Point is, and with a limited budget too. The duo Perez-Hulkenberg wasn't doing bad a few years ago. Perez can't be feeling any threat from baby Stroll and drives accordingly.
The team sucks right now , everybody else mid field field has improved and they haven’t , hence the bad results . Perez is a pro , Stroll or no Stroll , he will give his best
So, we have Williams, Haas and Point Racing at the bottom of the pile, whilst McLaren has been really improving.
Not sure what is going on there either , I don’t know enough about them to have an educated opinion but Grosjean has to go for starters
The sad part is that when he started out , I wanted to root for him to prove all his detractors wrong , but his attitude and personality are so **** he is just plain unlikable . As far as I am concerned now , he is just wanker kid who got into F1 because his daddy wanted him to , has limited talent and no passion for the sport , is only interested in going through the motions because of what the status of being an F1 driver represents
If he didn't have the attitude he has far fewer people would have an ''issue'' with him. If he was say like Norris or Ricciardo people would be more forgiving.
Not shabby at all from Lance. But can he reach Q2? I think it's 11/12 quali sessions in a row where he has failed to reach Q2.
What a day for Stroll. The only thing that kept him off the podium was the natural lack of pace of the Racing Point vs. the competition. The kid did all he could. Brilliant pit wall strategy from the team. Damn near a miracle!
