NO question. He was certainly passionate about the sport and having an insider’s opinion regarding F1 was a sublime experience. Humbling too. Set me straight on quite a few things I believed wholeheartedly. Always loved his no prisoners approach to those who advised the outcome of a race was going to be boring and predictable. “Don’t watch then”. . Wish he was still chiming in.
Funny you mentioned that video! I really think it sums it up very well for everyone here. So here it is again...plus his new (basically useless) video about STROLLOLOLOL. On a serious note if you guys have not watched some of this guys content you really must. Here is one of my favorites with Crashtor Maldonado.
*clap clap* I know it is practic but that was a great session for him. Let's hope it doesn't spiral down in Q.
Maybe or Stroll might be a touch quicker. Interesting to see how quick Max will be in comparison to all of them
I was having a bit of fun. Dont hate Stroll he's just here cause of money. If Stroll would have not owned the team and you had to choose between Hulk and Lance lol............
Hulk was 0,6s from Stroll in FP2, now 0,3s in FP3. If the trend continues, difference in quallu will be 0, and in the race he will finish in front of Stroll.
Hulk no experience with this chassis, very little experience with the Mercedes Hybrid engine in it's current form...steering wheel layout completely different to what he's used to.... If he finished ahead of Stroll that really puts everything in perspective. This is Stroll's 4th year in F1...in his own team (literally).
Hulkenberg has raced Silverstone in F1 9 times compared to Stroll’s 3 times, sort of levels the playing field comparing Hulkenberg missing the first 3 race weekends. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
The Racing Point has vastly improved this year. Sir Lancelot has kept up with the car's improvements. I think he's met the expectations if not exceeding them. That's life in the "car is king" F1 environment.
We shall see soon lol! Again who would hire Stroll after 4 YEARS in F1 after all of his 'experience'. I would take Nico and others long before Id consider Stroll. He has not had 1 full race where he raced. See his so called move on Ricci in Austria not long ago and Ricci's opinion of that. Done.
Difference is for Stroll vs Nico as you post. He has been in the car. Given how long Hulk has been out of touch he has been impressive. NO set up time and inheriting someone else' car and set up initially. I certainly do not think with realism Nico will be faster.
So its the car. Both can drive it and after months out of any F1 car Nico is impressive! Doesnt say much for Stroll though???? Nico is almost his equal already lol
