    Yes
His behavior and appearance are in total contradiction with what Lawrence Stroll represents.
If the car doesn’t improve and the atmosphere inside the team gets tense, the big boss will really have a hard time accepting the price he asks for.

I think Seb would be a far happier person if he left. How much longer will he suffer being in the worst team on the grid...........for money that he can probably not worry about losing overall. Yes the sum is considerable but that is not peace of mind for him now. His family and his view of the world and given issues run counter to the material focus and over driven ego the F1 paddock is as an entity. I think he has 'checked out' already Seb has.

He can 'mentor' Mick outside of F1 as well.

Bottom line is that Lance beat the 4 times WDC fair and square in the race.

Even after the penalty he was all over the place. Appeared as though the other drivers, Gasly and Bottas, were both a like timid about putting any aggressive move on him out of fear of being shunted.

Yes certainly a possibility. With his penalty why push anything at all. He was going backwards no matter LOL!!

He has ZERO points lol. What an achievement. As I always post - would you hire him if he had no money to offer the team...................????????????????????

The team has zero points because the car is a POS. Given your logic anybody 11th and behind has no achievements.

That argument again? I thought we covered that in extensu about 100 pages ago:

Drivers come with attributes. Lance's is that he comes loaded with $. Therefore as a team boss I would hire him.

Your question is like asking would I hire if Leclerc came without talent? Of course not. But his attribute is talent, so yes.

Besides: All of them have at least some modicum of talent or they wouldn't have a super license. Contrary to popular belief you cannot buy a seat in F1 as a man of the street. You need some racing pedigree AND money.

That argument doesn't exists when you father owns the team !

It's the same with an executive who owes his position being the son of the company boss.

It exists. His reputation is not one of if he leaves his daddy's team he is a player for a seat. He is not. Thats been the wisdom for quite a while. Would you hire him for your F1 team?? I would not.

No it is not. Being groomed(the son) of a company is quite different than being a driver in F1 from the boss of an F1 team..

You cannot groom race-craft in F1. Your either talented, average or bad....and everyone can see it.with other F1 drivers on the grid.

In the company, the boss's son/daughter is being groomed to take his/her seat as well as sitting in very important meetings. No matter the education of said company within the company. A COO or CFO can have multiple degrees from ivy league colleges, the son/ daughter will trump over them in the long-term to run the company IF they show interest in running the company in the foreseeable future.

You are trying to make a difference where there isn't: There are plenty of sons of CEOs who were groomed all the way but didn't have it and run the company in the ground.

Whereas any F1 driver at least needs to have some racing pedigree or he doesn't get the super license.

The bashing Lance gets on here is off the chart. He has accomplished a good deal more than many have-beens and never-weres. The history of F1 is littered with untalented drivers and with pay drivers who didn't cut it. Lance is a lot more accomplished than many of those. Which was shown once again today when he beat his 4 times WDC team mate.

I realize the "not-so-great" F1 drivers of the past....but that's history.....even to compare Lance with the past not-so-great F1 drivers is like comparing Lewis and Schumacher.

We're comparing Lance to the current F1 drivers on the grid.

More than the rookies.....yes...I'll agree to that when it comes to his driving.

Financially, yes his father had done way more to save a team in trouble.....

Currently the AMRF1 team seems to be on the backfoot.

    I'd be surprised.

Yes, I have driven 3 F1 in my life but of course all on private occasions. In a real F1 GP I bet none of us has ever competed.

The correct spelling is you're = you are
Your is a possessive adjective. That bag is yours.
