Thanks for proving my point guys. Let's see, Stroll does well in qualifying and hours pass without a single post saying good job. I then post what I did and within MINUTES the haters come out justifying why what Stroll did was nothing special. I've said it before and I'll say it again, those who only want to see their perspective and struggle to see the good in others have very questionable judgement.

Both in the points. Stroll P7 and Alonso P8. Stroll started P8 and Alonso P10. Both were "gifted" 1 place due to Russell dropping out.
Bringing money to F1 is a formidable assett for at driver. If Stroll does nothing remarkable, he is in good company with half the field !!! Remember, there are perhaps 5 potential WDCs at any time in F1, the rest are just extras.

Whats your problem? Stroll 7th and Alonso 8th Alonso is a multiple WDC and Lance a midfielder. So coming in right after Alonso is fairly respectable. Especially since he also beat Alonso recently in qualifying.
Comical you bring this up for two reasons. First it tells a lie that Stroll gets all the upgrades as Alonso got this round first. Second now that the super experienced teammate who is miles better at ‘developing a car’ as is claimed here is asked for his technical feedback, gives a reply that if Stroll tied it would have him ROASTED for being a spoiled petulant kid. As always no objectivity here. Fact is nobody is claiming Stroll is better than Alonso but he is running him MUCH closer than would be believed given the ‘useless rich kid title’ so many enviously present here.

The racing points haul tells the true story and those points are all history will remember about the Stroller. Fair or not that's simply how it works. No one cares if he qualifies well once in a while.
Today’s story is that Stroll finished in the points and ahead of Alonso despot slow pit stop. Alonso on the other hand sounded like the spoiled defeatist kid on the radio. But that’s ok because he’s ahead in the points
Well done Lance by beating Alonso. That said, the AM is still crap: Qualifying showed an optimistic picture because Perez and Russell screwed up. The finishing race positions were more honest and showed that the car is at Toro Rosso level, not more. The head of the tail enders so to speak. The WCC position is cemented at this point for better or worse.
