After Ocon's 3rd place Qualifying for Spa, that will make him even more unpopular. A lot of drivers are praising Ocon's performance -- and as a kind of back handed slap to Stroll.

I always said that Stroll would be in F1 for years because his dad would keep cutting a cheque for his seat.......well now he one up'ed that and bought a team so Stroll will be there well into his 30's

A crying shame. If Stroll had an ounce of talent it wouldn't bother me...but Ocon likely forced out like this is just horrible. Ocon's crime is that he's too good, simple as that. That said I think he'll have a drive again next year. Looking forward to Stroll being utterly humiliated.
Seeing Kubica in the Williams is the thing that makes this deal really sweet. Too bad for Ocon, but such is life.
It's rumoured that Ocon will take vandoorne's place at Mclaren, and this could happen anytime soon...vandoorne on the other hand wouldh be picked up by Sauber (he drove for vasseur in other formulas) and Eriksson would get the boot!
