Dumb question here, ask just picked up my F355 last night. I've searched the inter webs and haven't found anything. I know the engine bays get hot. With literally 10 min of driving, when I got out of the car I wasn't expecting to burn my leg on the back part of the rocker panel/start of the rear quarter. Is this header location? How close to fuel tank here on this side. I know there's a separate fuel tank heat shield. But is it just the headers making the baby panel there that hot? I'll definitely have to watch the kids in this area when they get in and out. I'm hoping to get welcome thread up here soon.
Looks like it's more adjacent to the fan with the intake. Is it normal for the fans to run that hot? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ferraris get hot all over. I don’t drive mine above 95 degrees. Exhaust stays down more of the middle left and right and to the rear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
