I took the crankshaft to Castillo's Crankshaft Specialists in Southern California to see if I needed to have the mains, rods machined to first under size. They indicated that crank did not need to be machined, just polished, oil holes were chamfered. verified straight and magnafluxed.

I started checking some vendors for standard size bearings and was taken aback to learn how unreasonable the prices have become. On one of the threads I read that Federal Mogul makes these bearing. Does anyone know the part number or where I can find a reasonable source for these bearings.

The oil loss did required that the cams had to be taken a cam grinder/repair shop.

I Thank all those that have helped us Dino owners in this forum over the years.

I would go with Vandervell if I were you. I think Maranello Concessionaires in England made another run of them. Might check Superformance as well. They might carry Vandervell. My competition engine builder in Italy only uses Vandervell bearings.
