    (I searched...)

Has anyone replaced their rear "Silent Blocks" (the rear rod end link bushing) on a GTS? And if so, did you use an Energy Suspension or other manufacturer replacement part (in poly) or stock (rubber)?

I have new OEM silent blocks, but everything else is (or ultimately will be) Energy Suspension poly bushings. Before I re-install the rear sway bar and related parts and hardware, figured I would ask if there was an alternate.

I searched but did not find much chat on this particular part.

    Thanks,
    Phil

If you're talking about the shift rod "silent block", "Verell" makes and sells them. They work fine.

I think you're referring to the shift shaft bushings/seals. I'm looking for the suspension part.

    Thanks,

    Phil,

Energy Suspension does not make these bushings (107335?) in Poly. However, I did a short run of these bushings through a custom manufacturer....and have a few sets left. Send me a PM with the details on your car and likely, I have what you need.

    Best,
    David

    BINGO!

I see you also got the grommets in poly - did you buy them to fit or have to buy something close and modify them?

    Thanks,
    Phil

Nope, they were made to go there. They are slightly taller than stock rubber bushes, fyi. The more I think about it, the more I'm sure I got them from John Haller (JH355)
