Rod in his SV seen in this video here at 4.17. Pictures are screenshots from the video. Rod must have owned a Miura and a Miura S at the same time, as pictured in the b&w pic. Perhaps George could ask him? There's no mention of the LHD P400 Rod had in the article in the link or the SV he bought in 1972, just the S he bought in Spring 1971. The P400S registered JLL 831K would have been August, 1971. Below is a pic of SV 4818 with the wheels and sills painted gold, how it was originally. It would be great if George could ask Rod how many Miuras he had exactly. There must have been at least 4. I'd forgotten Stephen Keen had discussed with Rod when he met him when Rod had SV 4818 about his previous Miuras.
Interesting picture I recently found of Tony Iommi {Black Sabbath} sat on his SV in the 70s,I found the picture in his book called Iron Man Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've searched long and hard for photos of Tony Iommi with his light blue Miura SV and the one in the book is the only one I could ever find. I thought he owned an Espada as well but I've never managed to find any proof of that.
Me too. His SV is all over the internet and even featured in magazines but that is the only photo I've ever seen with him in the same picture at the time he owned it. Is it true that a potato farmer bought it off him?
Something like that, or it may have been the other way around, can never remember! It has been discussed on here, probably in the Miura thread.
This came from CAR mag Feb 1981 the number SR2 was meant to have belonged to the man that owned the car after Iommi Image Unavailable, Please Login

The light blue ex Tony Iommi SV has had quite a number of different plates on it. Haven't seen it with J 8111 on it before. I've just realized that you know this car very well. It's probably one of the very best colours I've ever seen on a Miura and really suits the car.
OK, well I saw Rod on Monday. However he wasn't in the best of moods and was not into talking about cars. So, maybe next time.
From his Autobiography: For Stewart, the regrets department seems closed. Unless you count selling a prized Lamborghini Miura SV a few years back for a paltry $9,000, when today that rare model will fetch more than a million dollars. "My kids were all railing on me, 'Why did you sell that car, Dad!' " says Stewart. "But, hey, they come, they go. I don't know anything about how cars work, and I don't want to. I just love the lines of them. They're exotic and fast, and I've known women with both those qualities."
