    THANKS to all who braved the threat of rain to be there today!


    We had plenty of behind the scenes drama: TOO many limos driving around, Pindar contact person MIA, DJ from hell, no sound system and a few other glitches. Still, it seemed to work pretty well.
    We also live and learn and next year will be even better!
    Will get pics up ASAP, and if anyone has some please post.

    Had a great time Sam. Next year's ROE was great too. (I hooked up with the delorean guy and checked it out for a few minutes) :D

    Ben, great seeing you again, your new car is sick!!! Congrats on the best of show. I think you need to get a "keep off the car" sign, couldn't believe that woman was climbing in and on your car without permission. At least the "beach story" you told us the girl was hot, this one was NOT!!!

    I would guess the DJ was a former Leman Brothers investment banker and his savings are running really low...he had on a nice suit and tie and no socks!.

    Had a great time!
    The Sockless DJ was a sight to behold.
    The food was good, the friends even better.
    Vinny & Sandy : great having lunch with you both.
    Ben, gorgeous SV. Congrats on the award.
    The alphas, the Dino, Delorean, Vipers, lotus, and Eric's new Porche. very nice!

    On the way back, I had opportunity to drive with Vinny& Sandy in their black 360 and got to see Lupe's 360 (Vinny's dog owned that car)
    and Ben in the Diablo. You guys showed way to much constraint.

    I'm already looking forward to next year.

    Once again, a great afternoon. I know ROE is a "diverse rides" event (i.e. not exotic only) but the limos did add a new dimension to the event. Maybe next year we make a rule that if they drive in, they have to stay and enter in the concours.
