    Hi,

    I need advice. I bought my wife a new Rolex a few years back and just very happy with it. Nom I'm being offered a pre-owned 1990 Rolex Datejust in ss with the box and all the papers for 3500$ CDN. The authorized dealer just completed a full service of the watch.

    What your view on the price...

    Seems a bit high for a 1990, but many variables and I am not up on the Canadian Market.

    That is right around what I'm seeing them for here with a 2 year warranty but no box or papers. I paid $3200 for mine last year, it is a 87 IIRC. A friend just paid the same amount for an early 90's.

    Before I would buy used at this time I would check rolexforums.com and swissluxry.com as I've seen some good deals lately on NIB old stock at both.
