Hi... Finally had chance to bring wife's watch in. The folks there said the servicing is done in Dallas. Thanks for the advice...T
I'll give him a call, thanks! That would have been great, thanks. The next time I'm in Dallas I'll check them out, I just don't get up there too often. Thanks for the replies, much appreciated!
Wife's Rolex is back from service. Had a chance to drive to Dallas to pick it up today. So, 3 weeks in total or one week less than they estimated. They replaced the stem, stem seal, polished the band, and a few other things in addition to refurbishing the innards. They give you an itemized bill that lists everything they did. No surprises. The price was exactly what they said it'd be. The service comes with a two year warranty that covers everything except dropping it. Wife also got an insurance evaluation, which is included. It's doubled in value in 15 years! All in all, highly recommended, if your Rolex needs servicing. I asked about parts for antique watches that someone had inquired about. The lady at the Service Center said that most likely they would not have parts once watches get much older than 25 years. She gave me the card of a service they recommended for antique watches. See below. Hope it's useful. Thanks everyone for all the advice! T
glad it worked out for you! I've enjoyed very good and consistent service there for many years...like I said before, I wouldn't take my watch anywhere else.
