Everyone will be amazed with the very special cars that will be coming out for this. How about the possibility of 3, count them 1-2-3, GTOs. Not the Fiats either. The Wayne Obry memorial display is going to be epic. One of the 126 F1 cars. Be looking for the seminar schedule to be sent to registered attendees in a couple days. There are going to be some very interesting topics. Jeff
I will be there with my GTC. I am looking forward to seeing the 275s in abundance. FCA annuals do bring together a significant variety of many amazing creations from Maranello. I have attended quite a few annuals since the 70s. Jeff........I would proudly accept one of those "Fiat GTOs" as you so-labeled. The 288 was built in the Ferrari factory while still under Enzo's supervision. To me it represents another piece of the company legacy. There was no sudden loss of engineering prowess, absence of style or design, nor loss of significance of the Ferraris produced the day after Enzo sold the stake to Fiat. The sale was a matter of [financial] survival. I don't feel that event built a wall that has "before" and "after" sides. I dare you to go out on the Concorso field and tell the owners of Queens, Daytonas, C/4s, or F40s, 50s, Enzos or any Ferrari produced after 1967 to remove their "Fiats" from the field. My apologies if you are saying this in jest. I just have a problem with the before and after label or classification nonsense.
I'll be there. I'm almost certain that I will be driving up from Houston, just for the experience of the roadtrip. Of course, I'll need to take a Ferrari, and it looks like the most likely candidate is my Mondial QV Coupe. I'm looking to meet up with others caravanning to Ohio. Let me know.
Yes, in jest. Story: Eons ago, maybe 1979, a friend and his wife flew to buy a couple year old 308 GT/4 as a car for Linda. They were going to drive it home which would have taken most of 2 days. I heard from him before he should have been back home. When asked what happened he responded "we went to get a Ferrari but found a Fiat instead". For him he could make such comments as in the garage were just a couple of insignificant cars: 250 TR, 14 louver TdF, 250 SWB California, 250 GTO, 250 LM. A couple months later he bought a 275 GTB. Chuck Queener did an article driving that from New York area to Minneapolis in the dead of winter with a non-functional heater. Yes, without the Agnelli money Ferrari would have ceased to exist. We need to remember that for a period in the mid 1970s the only Ferrari available in the US was the 308 GT/4 as we had no Boxers and no 365 GT/4s. Then the 308 GTB came along and we still were without any 12 cylinders.
Michael, Use Shell on the drive and save the receipts. You could easily be the long distance winner. Jeff
I will be there and hopefully win the long distance award, coming from Zurich, Switzerland to Columbus, Ohio. Marcel Massini
I will be there with 08545, looking forward to seeing the others. Marcel, isn't the long distance award for DRIVERS? Lallygagging around in first doesn't count. See you there. Malcolm

Just a reminder to those driving on the Track with an F1 ticket, here is the link to the Tech Inspection form with the Grid Inspection checklist on page 2. http://www.ferrariclubofamerica.org/repository/documents/Track/FCA%202016%20Track%20Event%20Tech%20and%20Grid%20Inspection%20Form_Jan%202016.pdf Note that the car Tech Inspection needs to be within 30 days prior to the event. Also note that the helmet needs to be Snell SA 2010 or later. My current helmet is a 2005 one, so I found a 2015 helmet for sale as a replacement. See everyone there! .
Looking forward to this one. I will be driving down for the Concours and then staying up by the track. This is my third meet (13, 15 & 16) and I enjoy the track aspect of these events the most. Look for the red/tan 360! There can't be that many! Picture from FCA2013 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a daughter that went to THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY. Seems like l wrote them a check every day. Guess it was worth every penny...she has a PhD, a good practice, a husband and a son. I have been to a few annual meets. They are great. Hope you all have a wonderful time.

A little more than a week before I leave on the drive to Columbus. Any plans for people to meet along the way and caravan? I'm heading up from Houston, leaving on Thursday. I'm most likely taking the Mondial QV coupe, so I'm giving myself 3 days to get there. I'd love to meet people along the way. Feel free to post here or PM.
I'm on my way! Made it to Bowling Green, KY tonight. Will be in Columbus tomorrow. I'm posting updates on my trip thread in the Mondial section.
