Hello to all,

We'll be actively participating in the Children's Guild Concours D'Elegance on Sunday September 28th, 2008 from 10-4pm. We are also hosting a "Behind the Scenes" Car Wash event on Saturday September 27th from 1-5pm to help promote the Children's Guild cause and festival.

We're letting folks getting ready to display their cars have access to our detail and wash bay areas and to chat casually about mechanics with our Service department crew. Folks not showing their cars can get their daily drivers cleaned up by our lot Porters for a special reduced fee and we'll be making a donation back to the Children's Guild from the proceeds.

Come by our dealership Saturday and spend a relaxing afternoon chatting with our mechanics, detailer team, and friends. It won't be a traditional "car show" but there will be a lot of exciting cars and a cool Ducati from www.speedcycles.com to preview. Reserve your "Maserati Car Care Kit" at [email protected].

Sunday, our cars will be in downtown Baltimore at Harbor East with the Children's Guild near the Inner Harbor and large gold monument circle. If you would like to bring a chair and camp out near our tail gaits for the afternoon, we would be happy to have the company for an outdoor visit.

We'll have hats and such available for sale from our Parts Manager Vincent Veiga and wife Susan at our boutique spot.

I'm registered. Nothing being mailed - check in at registration for pit passes. Spoke to Chuck this morning and 300 pit passes have been sold. Closing registration for pit passes at midnight tonight.
Car registration is booked as well. About 100 registered. Cool - see everyone there.

There is a Registrant Map on the Children's Guild website for the show http://www.childrensguild.org/default.asp?id=125.

We are asking that participants with autos arrive from Central Ave, right on Lancaster and stop at the registration tent at the bottom of Exeter. After you have signed in you will receive your dash card and dash plaque, then be directed for parking.

Once you have parked come back to the registration tent to get your Pit Pass(es) and goody bag.

If you are a guest Pit Pass holder (no car) please come to the registration tent to get your Pit Pass(es) and goody bag.

Any particular/prefence time they want us to arrive with the car?

 

I will have a crew there at 6:30 setting up the fence barriers, blocking off the streets. If I remember from last year some cars were arriving at 8:00 am. for coffee at Vacarro's. Not exactly sure where the coffee is this year?

Hey Bob,
I'm in Bel Air, just off of Rt 543, exit 80 off of I-95. I'll be headed down relatively early with the 308GTBi and the 328GTS, depending on the weather tomorrow morning. If it's 30% or more I'll be taKing the DD.
I'll be leaving around 7:00.

 

I'll be running up 95 early with the throttle wide open all of the way! You'll know it is me because there will be a Ferrari behind me with the Hazards flashing.
