I just got back from dinner and was driving the 360. At on point traffic cleared and I got up to 100+. The last time I drove the 512 it just took off at speed. I always thought the 360 was the quicker car but now I have doubts. Does anyone know from a rolling start from 70 on up is the 360 or 512 quicker.

I think straight line the 512 is a little quicker though the 360 may handle better although the 360 Challenge cars were said to have devilish handling, never a problem w the 512

The 512TR will out pull the 360. Last time i was in Newport Beach my Brother-in-law I raced a 360 and beat it. The 360 was paddle shift so there wasnt much room for human error.

I've been able to pull away from 355s at speed too.

    355s have 269 lbs/ft torque, 360s- 275, 512BBis- 333 and 512TRs- 360.

I find the 512TR to be alot more powerful at those speeds, and it just keeps on pullin ................... to 190 + .

Well it looks like what I felt is correct. Now I'm shocked that the 360 isn't a lot more powerful than the 355. Having owned the 355, the 360 is much faster, the torque seens to be much more. The 360 is more eager at all rpm's than the 355 that needs to be in the higher rpm mode.

I own both and have tracked both. The 360F1 seems faster off the line but mid range to 120++ the 512 really pulls stronger. Both are mechanical orgasms.
