Found this one from a smashed car. Rather cheap. Any trouble installing? Image Unavailable, Please Login
The hard part is that it has a fire wall support and you have to remove the engine back panel to attach the bolts. But very cool and hard to find item ...GO FOR IT!
Yes installed one of these on my Strad recently ... or should I say im in the process of it. You will need to buy the brackets (lower and back) 2 of each, but these are very cheap only a few quid here in the UK ...even direct from ferrari Part numbers lower brackets RH side 67607800 £22.71 LH side 67607900 £22.71 2 x upper bracket 67608200 = £6.88 each + the bolts but get these from the seller if poss with the bar Now if I remember correctly these are not avalible from Ferrari USA due to the roll bar never being an option for the US market. So if your dealer cannot supply them you will need to source from UK etc and pay a little extra to ship. http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partsListing.asp?M=1&Mo=687&A=2&B=40601&S=&ID4=1655926 Both lower brackets will need to be welded in place and same with the top one, along with a pop rivet for the second top securing bolt as cars that were not factory spec with rollbar did not have any brackets in place. hope this helps. PS the factory bar is superlightweight I was amazed when I lifted mine up ... you can do it with your little finger !!
Oh - thanks a lot. Will order them from GB directly. Just came home from a marvelous visti at GoodWood Revival. All pictures of your work will be extremely helpfull. All the best //Anders T.
