I know that in a 360, the roll over valves can break and cause smell of fuel to escape. What would be the symptoms for a clogged roll over valve(s)? Would it cause overly rich running conditions? How would one diagnose a clogged valve with a smoke test?

Doesn't look possible to check both.

On the 2000MY (and on), there is an anti-flowback valve between the fuel separator and the charcoal canister. You might have to inject smoke on the separator side of the anti-flowback valve. Smoke would go into the common fuel separator, and then to the tanks via the rollover valves, but the smoke would only come out of the left tank via the filler cap. It would only test the left rollover valve for blockages.

Has anyone cut one open to see what's inside? Are they cloggable?

I see two ports on the side of the valve.

If you apply a vacuum to the nozzle, will the valve close?
