Today it was announced that the Stones are coming to Churchill Downs in September. Tickets go on sale next Monday (14th). My wife and I saw them last year in Columbus. We waited until the last minute to get ticket so we paid $1,200 for some pretty good tickets.

This time tickets are selling for $60-300. My lovely wife has volunteered to wait in line to get tickets. Let me know if you want to go, how many tickets you want, and at what price. The concert we saw last year was probably the best concert I have been to.

When will they, if ever, be this close again?

Where do you think the prime place to view the concert would be? Front section or perched up on either millionaire's row or turf club? I'm looking for (10) of the really good'ins.

Wow, you were close enough to jump onstage and do CPR if Mick or Keith needed it.

If you go to ticketmaster.com they have American Express has ticket packages available for Gold card members and above. Seats are pretty close to the stage. Of course they aren't cheap though. $360 and $550 depending how close you want to get. They are on sale now though you won't have to take you chances Monday when they go on sale to the public.

I am not sure where where the best seats will be? This will be my first concert at a race track. They are limiting the number of seats you can buy at one time so to get a group of good seat together might be tough. Hopefully they can get the sound right for this type of venue. Should be fun!
