I have to say I ran into one outside of Ruths Chris tonight and Im sorry ferrari's are beautiful but the Phantom is the ultimate showstopper. The car had a crowd of very affluent people surrounding it in complete awe at its size. My question is:

When do you predict prices of this monster will drop down into the 95-120k range like the silver seraph. I know the seraph was originally 229k and the phantom more like 350k but god I think I might have a new dream car.

the prices on the phantom fall hard after driving off the lot
but my guess would be not for another 4 years ...if that

Won't be in the low 100's for at least 10-15 years and will probably take a new model release as well.

Not until they come up with another totally new model . And in RR time , this could mean another 5/8 years ..

The pb with this car , which i love, is that i dont see myself driving it. Its too big . But i dont like being driven either..

Saw the new Phantom on Saturday too - I know what you mean! Holy crap that thing had presence! Makes S classes and 7 series and even Jaguars seem so plebian. I believe the driver had a tux or something on. I couldn't see really well it was raining, but he sure looked like a chauffer..........cool.

It looks like a cartoon caricature of a RR- fat cat car. Huge.
I was tucking into my local steak hideaway in the country- serious aged porterhouse, insane vintage wines, monster lobsters- out in the country, can sit outside in good weather- when one of those snuck into the parking lot behind me. I took my usual parking space for the Lambo, which is set apart from the rest of the lot, so the car is totally isolated.
The Roller pulled in, and drove around the lot for ten minutes before he figured out where to park it. Turned out it was the Donald, who was driving himself.

there was a high mileage one with about 50,000miles, that i bought for $175,000cdn, so in another year or so they should be around the $100,000, now mind you this was an extreme rarity to have even seen a phantom with that kind of mileage so soon, but they do exsist.

i dont see the price droping soon. my father has had three of them he gets a new one every year since 04. same dealer and they always give him close to his money back for the trade in. this might be a rare case since my father has bought rolls royces , bentleys and ferraris from this dealer for the last 20 years. they will discount the sh**t out of them if you buy them new and if rolls royce knows you have bought before they will even give you more of a rebate.

what happened to the seraph why is it in the high 80s now. Is it not a good car. I personally think it has serious prowess. I know it has a weak 322hp engine, but I don't remember 0-60 times being important in a Rolls!!!

The Phantom is the most baller car out...even though the Maybach 67 may have a nice interior to be driven in, the Phantom is just insane. You could do anything in it. I have recently taken a liking to big cars. I love sports cars but you need that one car where you can just sit back and relax in it. Fill it with stuff, and be laid back- have fun.

If you live in LA its not a baller car. The car is pretty much free because of the financing. I see about 12 with in 5 hours in LA. Most people I know have 2 of them. 80% are in Black.
They sell 800 a year and BH sells @ lest 50 a year. Every club there is @ lest one parked in front on the weekends. Nothing exclusive about that. People are immune to the car.

It is the best car in the world and the quality is second to none. Its not a car to be drivin in because the back seat kind of sucks. The Maybach 62 is for that.

The warrenty is 4 years unlimmited so the price stays up. What kills resale value is that they move a lot of them new for way below window so its better to buy new then used. They seem to bottom out @ 250 for newer clean ones and stay there.

Again in the old days it meant something to have an RR but not anymore. Bit os a dissapointment IMO but its still a great car.

As far as it being too big I always tell people to get the extened wheelbase.
The back seat of the phantom is way too small. The EWB is better for the car and that ads 10 inches more to the car. its very easy to drive and you don't feel as if its a large car

They have balloon loans which make it REALLY cheap and the BMW lease is very cheap too that's why you see so many

The car is exclusive, maybe not in LA since everyone leases one or rents one for the Hollywood image, but anyone who owns and can afford a 300k car is doing something right or even something wrong. I'd buy a black one, dark tint the windows, tail lights, black house headlights and put some black chrome rims on it.

A little something like that. That is just an insane car. Anyone who drives one of those is baller, enough said!

Its an opninion but to me an enzo or bugatti is a baller car.
Remember its not a 300k car but a $6000 a month car and a majority lease it. Over 70%
LA is just more about cars mixed with the huge increase in RE prices makes it more common as well

To get that payment you would need about 100k down on a new car. On a used one selling for around 230 I see 60k down 2500per month.
