Very unclear what each option and even what the full ADAS package includes - are the cameras different from the Surround View cameras? Can anyone shed some light? I don’t care about adaptive cruise control but I want to know if and when I’m going to hit a curb when parking and want blind spot monitoring. Thanks

    Full ADAS includes 4 items

ACC1 Front Radar with automated cruise control
BRAD Back Radar with Blind Spot and cross traffic
FCAM Front driving camera lane keep assist
    MIR3 Electrochromatic mirrors

To get BRAD must include MIR3

SURR Suround view adds additional cameras and is a completely separate system which incorporates the (in US) standard rear camera with a front bumper camera and under side mirror cameras. It is different than the front driving camera which is high in the windshield behind the rear view mirror which does sign recognition, lane change/keep assist and cross traffic.

I felt BRAD/MIR3 were a must as blind spot it truly helpful. I also got the SURR as again I felt this was helpful. I chose not to do ACC1 1. Because of the awful black box in the front passenger air intake for the radar and 2. Don’t live in an area with horrible traffic or long distance driving.

Interesting thing is if one wants these added features the ACAS package essentially gets the FCAM for free based on the package pricing.

...and also very unclear if with full ADAS, the car should brake automatically or not, in case of possible frontal collision. Anybody knows?

I find it very annoying that I can't use cruise control without the distance breaking. Anybody have any
    ideas?
