With car turned off. Start/stop on the steering wheel, overhead panel, buttons to open the door, hazard light (red), trunk release and the "P" for parking lights are always illuminated. When I have the alarm on same thing except now the start/stop isn't illuminated is the only difference. This can't be normal. Is it some sort of setting? Can't seem to find anything directly pointing to it.

Follow up: What I've now noticed is that after twenty minutes or so everything goes off except the Start/Stop on the steering wheel which goes off after approximately an hour. I'm going to assume this is normal behavior for now.

Twenty minutes is a pretty long time for all those buttons to be illuminated. I don't think mine stays on for more than a couple of minutes, at most. I usually lock the car or the car locks itself when the key is out of range. I have noticed that occasionally that the start/stop still illuminated long afterwards if I go back to the garage. Usually locking the car again turns the start/stop button illumination off.
