Roma Subwoofer project from Scuderia Audio

I was able to spend a few hours inside of a Roma earlier this week and compiled enough information to complete the CAD drawing for the first prototype Roma subwoofer enclosure. The precision machined pieces should be on the way to me by early next week. Pictures coming soon.

 

I received the pieces for the prototype today. The are temporarily bolted together. Will hopefully be able to test fit in a Roma tomorrow and take some pictures.

I'm a firm believer in good communication, whether good or bad, especially if I have promised updates.
I originally took measurements for this enclosure out of a Roma Spider. When I went to test fit the box today, the Spider was not there. I test fit in a Roma Coupe and it did not fit. It was close, but I will need to start with a new design. This particular car was not in a position for me to take measurements today, and I do not know when the Spider will return.
As soon as I have something actionable, I'll update this thread. I may consider asking the folks in the NorCal section if someone has a Roma Spider nearby.

 

The Spider was available today and the prototype enclosure fit is perfect. Will now remove the temporary bolts, glue the pieces together, complete the finish work, have it wrapped in OEM Ferrari black leather, then we will be ready for the final test fitting.
