I was reading up on carbon fiber watches and came across Romain Jerome and his extraordinary watches. Moon dust from Apollo 11 parts of Apollo 11 shuttle, steel salvaged from the Titanic. Very limited pieces, but this is my first time seeing watches like this before, has anyone else heard of watches like this before? http://www.romainjerome.ch/category/timepieces-titanic-dna/

I agree as a collector as well, I am just amazed by them. I was not sure if there were pieces still out there or not. I would love to see one in person someday.

They are the butt of a lot of jokes in the watch world. Just for their over the top ridiculousness.

A watch made from remnants of the Titanic-- yeah, that was a good idea.

Not my cup of tea, but they keep selling them. I have heard they are in financial trouble but I have no first hand on that.

I really didn't they were selling that much, I have to give it to him for being creative, there are few hundred other watches I would want to spend $300,000 on that's for sure.
